Mince the onion, place into water, then drain and squeeze out excess moisture.

Remove the insides from the kabocha squash. Cut into approximately half, then arrange peel-side down on a heat-safe plate and microwave (600 W) for 3 minutes. Quickly mash with a pestle or spatula.

While still hot, add and mix in the soy milk, soy sauce, butter and (1).

Place the almonds into a microwavable mug, and heat in a microwave (600 W) for about 10 seconds.

Serve (3) into separate dishes and garnish with (4).
